'Kawara Panamung', is the name of a women community that dare to dream and is eager to add their life skills. They are dedicated to learn and hone themselves, so they have new skills, namely weaving. Of course, this is an extraordinary achievement that they can show to the world. They have got the results of their weaving skills, but the challenge now is the existence of the 'Kawara Panamung' community in today's digital era.

So far, the 'Kawara Panamung' weaving group has been focusing on producing woven cloth, but this is not enough without understanding the use of digital and social media as a means of promotion. Digital media has great potential to compete in the world market. On this basis, 'Kawara Panamung' is required to be able to utilize digital media as a promotional tool. The presence of social media which is supported by the power of the internet can now support the successful promotion of a business or product easily, quickly, and efficiently with affordable capital.

At the 'Kawara Panamung' weaving group meeting (Friday, 02/09/2024), Elisabeth Uru Ndaya, the pioneer of the community invited the women of 'Kawara Panamung' to learn to make promotional videos and upload them to the existing social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Tiktok and others. Elisabeth chose the TikTok and CapCut applications so she introduced and explained the benefits of these applications to the group members. CapCut is used to edit videos that you want to post and TikTok is used to post videos that you want to promote. From each explanation received, the participants were challenged to use the existing social media platforms.

Some participants felt like that they were jumping back to elementary school because they were new to many things related to digital marketing. Katrina Pindi Njola said that she has the TikTok application but only uses it to watch stories that appear on the homepage and she just discovered the CapCut application. She also admitted that she had just learned about the benefits of the TikTok application, which anyone could use for promotional events. There are challenges that the 'Kawara Panamung' community must face in Digital Marketing with the their business spirit, and not to give up their desire to continue learning how to make promotional videos and how to post them on social media. Their hard work is proven by the Tiktok application belonging to 'Kawara Panamung' community along with various promotional videos. Some of them can be seen in the following links: https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSFYwpoYt/,  https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSFYws4Uj/, and https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSFYwXEQM/  Women can do it!
